Ka-hay: Welcome to the Chief Plenty Coups Electronic Field Trip. This field trip takes you on an adventure into the past - to a time when there were Indian war parties and huge buffalo herds roaming the plains. It explores the life of Chief Plenty Coups, a great leader of the Crow Indian tribe. During this field trip, you will visit Chief Plenty Coups' home which he left as a museum and learn how mysterious visions and special animal friends influenced his life. You will also learn how Chief Plenty Coups helped his tribe adjust to a new way of life as people began moving into the West. Most of all, you will discover how Native American people lived so long ago and how their traditions are still being kept alive today. |
